Our Mixologist Story
Hi, I’m Tonoah, CEO and Founder of Candy Coders Cocktails. What started as a fun hobby after college mixing drinks for family and friends has grown into a full-on creative and educational experience.
For years, people told me I should be a content creator or YouTuber, but I didn’t fully understand the space until I started researching. I realized I could use it as a way to document and share my cocktail recipes, like a virtual recipe book. But I’ve always craved more interaction. As an Adjunct Professor, I thrive in face-to-face settings, and that’s when it clicked. Why not turn cocktail-making into a class? I wanted to create something engaging, hands-on, and just plain fun. That’s how Candy Coders Cocktails was born.

As for the name, it’s a blend of all my passions. I’m also a Data Analyst and originally created “Candy Coders” to teach kids how to code. But then I thought—cocktails are candy for adults, and “coding” is just the creative recipe and technique behind a great drink. It all came together in the most unexpected (but perfect) way. Now, I bring mobile cocktail classes to life, combining creativity, learning, and good vibes one pour at a time.
